This 2019 MV Agusta 800 Dragster RR is one of 200 Pirelli special editions produced and it displays 993 miles. It is finished in yellow and black and powered by a 798cc DOHC triple linked to a six-speed transmission. The bike is equipped with 17″ wire-spoke wheels, adjustable Marzocchi and Sachs suspension, a single-sided swingarm, and triple Brembo disc brakes with cornering ABS and wheelie and rear-lift controls in addition to an up/down quickshifter, a steering damper, LED lighting, and a Tail Tidy. The Motor & Vehicle Integrated Control System (MVICS) features eight-level traction control and four selectable ride modes.
The Pirelli Edition was produced in collaboration with the tire manufacturer and features a redesigned seat with deviated stitching, a ceramic finish on the exhaust tips, and a rubber finish on the tank slider and fairing specifically designed by Pirelli’s research and development team. This example is finished in black with a contrasting yellow frame and graphics, and it has been fitted with a Tail Tidy license plate relocation bracket.
Black wire-spoke 17″ wheels with yellow highlights on the rims and silver-finished hubs and nipples are mounted with 120/70 front and 200/55 rear Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP tires that feature yellow tread accents on the rear. Adjustable suspension consists of a 43mm Marzocchi inverted fork with DLC-treated aluminum legs in addition to a Sachs piggyback-reservoir monoshock connected to the aluminum single-sided swingarm via a linkage. Bosch 9 Plus cornering ABS also employs Rear Wheel Lift-up Mitigation (RLM), working through dual 320mm rotors and four-piston, radial-mount Brembo calipers up front along with a 220mm rotor and two-piston Brembo caliper out back.
Individual left and right handlebars equipped with bar-end mirrors are secured above the upper fork bridge, which carries an adjuster knob for the steering damper. The 5.5″ TFT dashboard just ahead displays a digital speedometer, a gear indicator, and a bar-style 16k-rpm tachometer in addition to settings for ABS, traction control, and engine mapping. The six-axis inertial measurement unit and electronics suite also provide wheelie control, cruise control, and GPS and Bluetooth connectivity along with communication with the MVRide app. The digital odometer indicates 993 miles
A plaque mounted beneath the instrument cluster indicates this bike as being #41 of 200 produced. Service in preparation for the sale included flushing the brake fluid, replacing spark plugs, and changing the oil. The bike comes with a clean title and the original owner’s manuals.
The liquid-cooled 798cc DOHC triple features Mikuni electronic fuel injection, a counter-rotating crankshaft, MV Agusta’s Motor & Vehicle Integrated Control System (MVICS), a ride-by-wire throttle, an oil cooler, and a triple-exit exhaust system. It was factory rated at 140 horsepower and 87 lb-ft of torque.
