This 2015 MV Agusta F4 RC is #218 of 250 produced by the marque’s Reparto Corse division to homologate the model for World Superbike racing. Power is provided by a 998cc DOHC inline-four paired with a six-speed transmission, and the bike is finished in red, white, and green with World Superbike replica graphics. It also features a Termignoni titanium exhaust system, a single-sided swingarm, an Öhlins steering damper, adjustable Öhlins suspension, forged aluminum nine-spoke wheels, Brembo disc brakes with Bosch ABS, and carbon-fiber body panels as well as the Motor and Vehicle Integrated Control System 2.0 (MVICS) electronics suite including a ride-by-wire throttle, eight-level traction control, Electronically Assisted Shift 2.0 (EAS), and adjustable engine parameters. The bike comes with a clean title and the original owner’s manuals.
The bike features a hand-welded steel trellis frame with aluminum alloy side plates as well as fully-faired bodywork finished in red and white with green accents and World Superbike replica graphics. The lower fairing, fenders, side panels, chain guards, and airbox and intake covers are constructed of carbon fiber. Additional equipment includes an Evotech license plate mount, a side stand, integrated clear taillights, front turn signals integrated into the fairing-mounted mirrors, a black-upholstered rider seat with a suede insert and white contrast stitching, and a color-matched cover in place of the passenger seat.
Nine-spoke 17″ forged alloy wheels wear Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa tires. Adjustable Öhlins suspension consists of a 43mm NIX30 inverted fork with titanium nitride-coated legs in addition to a TTX36 piggyback-reservoir monoshock connected to the single-sided aluminum swingarm via a linkage. The triple disc brakes feature a Brembo radial master cylinder, radial-mount four-piston calipers, and 320mm rotors up front as well as a Brembo two-piston caliper and 210mm rotor at the rear, and the bike is equipped with a Bosch 9 Plus ABS module.
The clip-on handlebars are affixed beneath the upper triple clamp, which bears a tag that identifies the bike as #218 of 250 F4 Reparto Corse models produced. The electronic dashboard displays a digital speedometer, an arcing bar-style 15k-rpm tachometer, a readout for coolant temperature, and a gear indicator as well as a digital odometer indicating 10 miles. The bike is equipped with the Motor and Vehicle Integrated Control System 2.0 (MVICS) electronics suite, which includes a ride-by-wire throttle, eight-level traction control, Electronically Assisted Shift 2.0 (EAS), and an adjustable rev limiter, throttle sensitivity, engine braking, engine response, and torque output.
The 998cc DOHC inline-four features a ride-by-wire throttle, selectable fuel mapping, four radial valves per cylinder, magnesium covers, titanium fasteners, and a Termignoni titanium race kit exhaust system and corresponding ECU. Factory-rated output was 212 horsepower.
The six-speed transmission works in conjunction with the Electronically Assisted Shift 2.0 (EAS) system to allow clutchless up- and down-shifts, and power is transferred to the rear wheel via a drive chain.
