This 1979 Honda Z50J Monkey Limited was equipped with a custom single-seat sidecar built by Auto Staff Suehiro in the late 1990s in Japan so that its previous owner could transport his grandchildren. The bike and sidecar are both finished in silver, and the bike is powered by a 49cc four-stroke single linked a four-speed transmission. Equipment includes a kick starter, silver-finished 8″ steel wheels, drum brakes, full suspension, folding handlebars, a beige vinyl seat, a cargo rack, and street lighting with turn signals as well as a high-mounted exhaust system.
The bike is finished in silver and features a beige seat, chrome fuel tank panels, chrome fenders, mirrors, a luggage rack, and street lighting.
Multi-piece 8″ steel wheels are finished in chrome and are mounted with Dunlop tires. Braking is handled by front and rear drums, and suspension consists of an inverted fork as well as dual shocks mounted to the swingarm. The shocks have been upgraded to support the additional sidecar and passenger load.
The sidecar was built by Auto Staff Suehiro from aluminum. It is equipped with a matching seat and tonneau cover, front and rear marker lights, a black grab handle, and suspension. The seat-back tips forward for access to the storage compartment behind. The chassis is adjustable for toe-in, camber, and ride hight.
A pair of twist–lock knobs permit the handlebars to drop and stow for transport or storage. A Nippon Seiki 60-km/h speedometer with recommended shift points is situated atop the headlight bucket and between a keyed ignition switch and the neutral and speed-warning lights.
The horizontal 49cc four-stroke single is equipped with a kick starter, a replacement Keihin carburetor, and a high-mounted exhaust system with chrome-finished heat shields.
Power is sent to the rear wheel through a four-speed transmission and a drive chain.
